Day 2 - Corporate prayers of the Prayer Summit.

Topic: The Wisdom & Power
First set of prayer points from the prayer bulletin.

1. Our prayers will not be in vain Col.1 : 9 - 12. We have been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance in the light thus in 2013 nothing that belongs to me will elude me.

2. Fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding 1 Jn 5 : 4, we have the assurance that we'll get what we ask for so it's important that we ask in accordance to his will.

3. 2 Sam. 22 : 34 - 35. New goals will be set by the third & sixth months because what we thought would take a year will be accomplished / fulfilled in a short while.
Pray that God will make your feet like the Hind's feet, making divine acceleration to be your portion this year in Jesus name.
Pray that you may outrun those who have connection by the strength of God's spirit on your life.

4. Is. 8 : 18. Pray that you will have daily encounters with the supernatural, that you may be a divine advertisement of God's wisdom and power

SHORT EXHORTATION
Text: 2 Tim 3 : 1 - 5 ( emphasis on 5a)

We need to embrace the power of God to the end that we do not have the form of Godliness that denies the power that can make a tangible difference in our lives; such that our knowledge of God will be backed by a fear of God himself. To have a balanced fear of God is to have a fear as of terror and a fear as of reverence/ honor. As we pray we must be mindful that what will make things work in our favor is to live in the fear of God & believe that the power of God can turnaround everything in our lives. We can therefore engage the power of God to see positive / tangible changes in our lives. *choices changes circumstances but decisions determine destiny*
Rom. 8 : 13 - 15. When the wisdom of God is resident in you it combines the two types of fear that we have of God.

5. Phil. 2 : 12 - 13. Ask God to birth / reactivate a fear of Him in your heart. Lord reactivate a fear for you & your presence , help me to understand the awesomeness of your presence , help me overcome everything that is the source of  unholy familiarity that I will revere you as I ought in 2013. What ever will not give you glory/ break your heart let me not be found there / associated with in Jesus name.

6. Make me a candidate for honor in 2013, help me to do things that will engender honor to your throne & your name.

7. Lord I receive the courage to change the things I can i.e. I am resolving to work / cooperate with God to see tangible changes in my life so that God's power will come to bear in my life, Spirit of God work within to will & to do of your good pleasure ( break anger, timidity, unforgiveness etc) bring tangible changes to the way I live.

DECLARATION: I am a debtor not to the flesh but to the Spirit. He rules & reigns in my life in 2013.

8. Lord help me to know that I am indebted to you, to do your bidding, to walk in the spirit, order my steps, my utterances, my thinking / my mind to the end that I'll hear a voice behind me saying "this is the way you should go walk in it"

9. I receive grace to keep in remembrance that I'm a debtor to the Spirit such that I do the bidding of the Spirit. I owe the Holy Spirit my allegiance to obey the bidding of the Holy Spirit, being alive to the Holy Spirit always.

10. A daily encounter with divine help. Ps 108: 13, Ps 121 : 1- 2. "Vain is the help of man, in 2013 we will not lean on the arm of flesh. Lord help me to be conscious of divine help constantly & to come to the knowledge that help is always available to me. Embrace divine help; I declare that I'm not permitted to be stranded, help shows up in the nick of time.

11.  Mark 16 : 20 daily encounters with the manifestation of His power. Mark 9 : 28 - 29. In 2013 I enjoy daily encounters with the divine power of God, wherever I show up no demon is permitted to remain there, I lay hands on the sick and they recover

12. Ask God for a baptism of power upon The Elevation Church such that all we do is backed up with the power of God, every aspect of our lives encounters the power of God
